摘要: It is shown that the permeability of a water-saturated sand or fine powder can be calculated with considerable accuracy, if porosity and specific surface are known. In particular, Kozeny theory here discussed leads to very useful relationship between porosity. clays do not conform in its simple form, but it may modified give satisfactory representation data available. The physical grounds for this some detail, that, while open criticism, at least harmony our present knowledge clays. An important deduction which follows from have zero quite porosities, e.g. ∈ = 0·207 clay soil, 0·355 plastic clay.
