Energy transfer and luminescence properties of KZnF3: Ln3+ (Ln3+ = Eu3+, Tb3+, Eu3+/Tb3+, Eu3+/Tb3+/Tm3+) phosphors

摘要: Abstract KZnF 3 : Ln 3+ (Ln  = Eu , Tb Eu /Tb /Tm ) phosphors were prepared by the oleic acid assisted hydrothermal synthesis method. X-ray diffraction (XRD), field-emission scanning electron microscopy (SEM), photoluminescence (PL) spectra, as well lifetimes utilized to characterize samples. For samples, energy transfer mechanism and pathway proposed comparing experimental data theoretical calculation. By adjusting doping concentration of Tm ions in 0.05 Tb 0.07 z a white emission single composition was obtained. These might be promising for use UV LEDs.
