摘要: Abstract Hexavalent chromium is a known carcinogen, among all species of ions, for the respiratory tract in humans. In present work, new facile probe developed rapid and sensitive determination Cr(VI) based on utilizing highly fluorescent conjugated poly[(9,9-dioctylfluorenyl-2,7-diyl)-alt-co-(1,4-benzo-(2,1’,3) thiadiazole)] (PFBT) polymer dots (PDs). The PDs are easily functionalized by doping isophthalic acid (IPA) into target during single step preparation. prepared with an average diameter 30 nm illustrated strong fluorescence emission peak centered at 530 nm (photo-excited 480 nm). selectively significantly quench Cr(VI), while it does not change Cr(III) ion and, thus, can facilitate speciation process. proposed mechanism inner filter effect (IFE) mechanism, which absorption bands Cr(IV) overlaps excitation modified PDs. revealed good linear relationship from 0.1 to 1000 μmol L−1 detection limit 0.03 μmol L−1, further used track Cr distribution water samples. Finally, IPA-doped excellent optical properties, biocompatibility, high quantum yield showed promising potential tracking specifying different ions inside human cells, opening door toward getting better insight cell function metabolism presence heavy metal especially ions.
