摘要: Pure, translucent, and highly crystallized barium titanate (BaTiO3) monolithic gels were synthesized via a sol-gel technique at temperatures down to 90°C by using high-concentration solution of alkoxide titanium alkoxide. The consisted fine particles with an average diameter ~10 nm showed the X-ray diffraction patterns pseudo-cubic BaTiO3 system room temperature; however, in bulk crystal, tetragonal structure was more stable. optical transmission spectra polycrystalline similar those for single-crystalline BaTiO3. From excitation energy dependence absorption-edge structures, optical-gap energies estimated have values that ~0.1 eV higher than single crystal; these may be attributed size effects.
