Recent advances on optoelectronic devices inspired by the compound eyes

摘要: In this report, we present a new type of optic design inspired by arthropods eye for advanced optoelectronic devices. Arthropods gives the inspiration imaging systems that have an extremely wide field view without abberations and nearly infinite depth-of-field. Biomimetic approach with natural accelerates progress in both basic science practical applications.
