Clinical Evaluation of an Enamel Matrix Protein Derivative Combined With a Bioactive Glass for the Treatment of Intrabony Periodontal Defects in Humans

摘要: Background: The purpose of the present study was to compare treatment deep intrabony defects with a combination an enamel matrix protein derivative (EMD) and bioactive glass (BG) BG alone. Methods: Twenty-eight patients chronic periodontitis, each whom displayed 1 defect, were randomly treated EMD or Soft tissue measurements made at baseline year following therapy. Results: No differences in any investigated parameters observed between 2 groups. Healing uneventful all patients.
