摘要: Background: The purpose of the present study was to compare treatment deep intrabony defects with a combination an enamel matrix protein derivative (EMD) and bioactive glass (BG) BG alone. Methods: Twenty-eight patients chronic periodontitis, each whom displayed 1 defect, were randomly treated EMD or Soft tissue measurements made at baseline year following therapy. Results: No differences in any investigated parameters observed between 2 groups. Healing uneventful all patients. At after therapy, sites showed reduction mean probing depth (PD) from 8.07 ± 1.14 mm 3.92 0.73 change clinical attachment level (CAL) 9.64 1.59 6.42 1.08 (P <0.0001).
