摘要: The mechanisms whereby intermixed zones of alumina and zirconia are formed at the interface between metallic bond coat ceramic top (yttria-stabilized zirconia) in thermal barrier coating systems have been investigated. results lead to following mechanism for formation zones. predominant zone involves a metastable polymorph (θ or γ) during TBC deposition, with significant amount dissolved it. outward growth also begins incorporate particles, which initiates zone. Upon exposure, TGO continues grow outward, extending zone, eventually transforms equilibrium α-Al2O3. transformation α-Al2O3 an increase volume fraction as it is rejected from solution. Once appears, subsequent produces columnar without second phase. When α-alumina was preformed on coat, prior no Pt-modified aluminide coats.
