摘要: Abstract The st mutation in the T5 wild-type phage, demonstrated by an increased heat stability of phage particle, causes changes DNA molecule. five different T5st mutants studied have 2–7% less than phage. When molecule is first broken shear it breaks asymmetrically into long and short fragments representing 65 35% mass from shear, also with a decrease average size increase fragments. These are specific for each mutants. Other physical parameters parallel their loss DNA. Those that lost greatest amount most stable, sediment slowest, lowest density.
