摘要: Abstract Effects of salinity, pH, and temperature on the spores sporelings Padina tetrastromatica Hauck from India have been investigated. The alga showed tolerance to salinities 27.0–32.0%. only. At 32.1%. no survived. number thalli rhizoids produced per sporeling were always high in 100% sea water (32.0%.); growth thallus was also at this concentration. a pH 8.0–8.5. Beyond range, mortality high. Temperatures 23–28°C are optimal for survival best within range. From these studies our similar experiments mature plants, it is concluded that plants become slowly tolerant wider ecological limits.
