摘要: Levels of genetic variability at 12 microsatellite loci and 19 single nucleotide polymorphisms in mitochondrial DNA were studied four farm strains wild populations Atlantic salmon. Within populations, the showed significantly lower allelic richness expected heterozygosity than loci, but a higher with respect to observed number haplotypes haplotype diversity mtDNA. Significant differences allele- haplotype-frequencies between as well different populations. The large differentiation (FST = 0.24), suggests that attained high when created from seven generations ago. A proportion this remains despite an effective population size for nuclear DNA. This is best explained by particular mating schemes breeding programmes, 2–4 females per male. Our observations suggest some might currently hold equal or overall variability. In short-term, interactions escaped salmon increase some, not most, polymorphisms. long term, further losses are all polymorphisms, will be reduced if escapes continue.
