摘要: From September 1985 through August 1988 the Disaster Research Center (DRC) at University of Delaware undertook a study local mass media response to community disasters. A total 15 new field studies were undertaken for this research, fourteen in United States and one Canada (and certain purposes comparable data from two earlier studies were also used). The research had number specific topical goals, namely following. First, we conducted survey all outlets those communities which DRC carried out work study. The purpose was document involvement local radio, television and newspaper organizations community disasters. We interested establishing degree kind of participation that communication system would show disasters their own areas.
