摘要: This paper focusses on fundamental investigations of fuel wall films, which are formed when the spray impinges piston or cylinder walls. To reproduce wide range operating conditions within homogeneously charged gasoline direct-injection engines, it is necessary to use a film thickness measurement method, can be applied inside high-pressure, high-temperature vessel. Hence, we developed method based laser-induced fluorescence that reaches: precision better than 1 µm, geometric resolution 31 µm and practical applicability for thicknesses smaller 80 µm. obtain accurate results, provide detailed description selection surrogate isooctane with 3-pentanone as tracer resulting assembly excitation source, beam expander, filters, camera essential image processing. Furthermore, advantages disadvantages other possible solutions discussed. Earlier publications only little information about accuracy their calibration procedures. Therefore, tested compared three basic methods each an analysis errors, such influence preferential evaporation 3-pentanone. Finally, images films presented, considerations execution measurements like recording timings
