摘要: The fundamental mechanism for the generation of pipe wall vibration and subsequent external acoustic radiation from pipes due to internal flow disturbances is coincidence higher order modes with resonant bending in [1–3]. This gives rise enhanced response compared that undisturbed a straight pipe. A method presented reducing amplitudes coincident structural resonances, by using damper. damper consists metal ring attached several discrete rubber inserts. theoretical model developed receptance technique where modelled as rigid mass inserts are complex stiffness. By region frequency, caused matching reduced. Experimental results demonstrating effectiveness at selective presented. Reductions quality factor (Q) levels 10–15 dB have been consistently achieved appropriate resonance frequencies.
