摘要: Sera from 86 Colombian patients with parasitologically confirmed cutaneous leishmaniasis were studied by immunoblot analysis in order to identify a specific pattern for Leishmania infection. A soluble extract of panamensis was used as the antigen. Chagas' disease and sera no record infection trypanosomatids also studied. The specifically recognized fractions 120 kDa (76.7%), 123 129 (69.7%), 138 (61.6%), 141 (53.4%), 78 (44.1%). No band common all infected parasites found at time diagnosis. Likewise, change after treated apparently cured meglumine antimoniate (Glucantime) evaluating pretreatment 1 year posttreatment. Only minor changes color intensity same serum dilution between pre- posttreatment found, although antibody titers indirect immunofluorescence negative sample. This study shows that Western blot is more sensitive test detection anti-Leishmania antibodies. However, importance whether presence antibodies correlates antigens could not be resolved data obtained this study.
