Surface radiation budget for climate applications

摘要: The Surface Radiation Budget (SRB) consists of the upwelling and downwelling radiation fluxes at surface, separately determined for broadband shortwave (SW) (0 to 5 micron) longwave (LW) (greater than microns) spectral regions plus certain key parameters that control these fluxes, specifically, SW albedo, LW emissivity, surface temperature. uses requirements SRB data, critical assessment current capabilities producing directions future research are presented.
