摘要: Major, trace and rare earth element data are used to compare Spanish (sanidine bearing) Western Australian (leucite lamproites. The lamproites separated into the groups of Fuster co-workers with some modification: verite fortunite quartz normative verites arbitrarily defined as having A1203 indicating potential K richterite, jumillite has olivine ± felspathoid. Chemically, show higher K2O/AI2O3 ratios. TiO2 is more than 3 times concentration found in incompatible elements Ba, Sr, Zr Nb also levels. The REE chondrite - normalised patterns four differ terms enrichment (La/Yb ratio) but have similar Eu anomalies. anomalies not present rocks which even enriched kimberlitic character. LREE do a positive correlation may an independent role mantle source. occurrence spinel lherzolite xenoliths suggest that could been derived by partial melting at shallower depths compared examples lower HREE associated diamonds. Six lamproites, including three specimens from same province, range ∈Nd (20 m.y.) = -7.3 -12.7 further suggesting derivation (common) strongly mantle. We conclude varying degrees metasomatism taken place prior lamproite generation.
