摘要: Abstract A laboratory-made malodour sensing system including 12 commercial tin oxide gas sensors (Figaro Engineering) is used to identify five typical sources of olfactive annoyance: printing houses, paint shop in a coachbuilding, wastewater treatment plant, urban waste composting facilities and rendering plant. In this work, all the samples are collected field from real malodours uncontrollable conditions. The ability predict origin unknowns odoriferous investigated. test various pre-processing data algorithms shows that best classification results obtained with parameter free sensor base-line. differences responses among odours shown by icon plots confirmed principal component analysis, which highlights four representative clusters. Classification models calibrated discriminant analysis artificial neural network validated on samples. Chemical relationships between proves recognition not fortuitous. spite influence environmental parameters, demonstrate simple detect annoyances.
