摘要: Background: There are several barrier systems in the newborn gastrointestinal tract and one of most important among these Toll-like receptors (TLRs). The aim this study was to examine effect glutamine on 2 (TLR-2), TLR-4, TLR-9 levels gut. Material methods: Rats were randomly assigned three experimental groups. Group I (con trol at day 0) (n = 9), group II (control 10) 9): oral distilled water, III (study group) (200 mg/kg/day). After 10 days, ileojejunal segment removed for bio chemical analyses TLR-2, -4 -9. Results: a significant difference between groups TLRs. level higher than II. no statistically terms levels. differences TLR-2 TLR-4. Conclusions: Glutamine administration, by increasing TLR-9, may prevent increase TLR-4 rat intestine. Thus, it play protective role intestine reduce susceptibility necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC), which is associated with intensity expression.
