Understanding partnerships for protected area tourism: learning from the literature.

摘要: As demand grows for tourism opportunities within Australian protected areas, partnerships are increasingly seen as the way forward in dealing with variety of interests involved and ensuring that sustainability goals pursued. Previous partnership research has not made most to consult related literature from a broad range disciplines use associated theoretical developments basis analysis. This technical report addresses this gap through multi-disciplinary review reconcile often multifarious definitions allied concepts, such collaboration cooperation, various meanings given success, well identify factors which might impact upon success or failure. Eight perspectives explored, covering social exchange theory, adoption diffusion innovation, environmental dispute resolution (EDR), representation network stakeholder capital theory institutional analysis development (IAD) framework.
