Operationalisation of the Capability Approach

摘要: The holistic and multilayered structure offered by the Capability Approach makes this theoretical framework particularly suitable for conceptualising contextualising complex socioeconomic phenomena. However, several challenging issues on how to operationalise it are inevitably raised. Extensive growing empirical applications of in many fields investigation show that researchers can meet challenges posed approach adopting various strategies technical solutions. This chapter aims provide an overview recent literature capabilities, labour markets education Europe, using examples from European projects inspired by, or based on, offering interesting those who wish make use future field.
