摘要: A mathematic model for describing the Michaelis-Menten-type reaction kinetics with product competitive inhibition and side-reaction is proposed. multiresponse nonlinear simulation program was employed to determine coefficients of a four-parameter rate expression. The expression compared conventional Michaelis-Menten models without inhibition. Experimental data were obtained using β-galactosidase Kluyveromyces lactis immobilized on cotton fabric in batch system at temperature 37°C various initial concentrations dissolved lactose ranging from 3–12.5% (w/v). followed by concentration changes time tank. Samples after outlet stream packed bed reactor mixed well-stirred High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) applied monitor all sugars (reactants as well products). featured term describe formation trisaccharides, enzymatic hydrolysis. proposed simulates process hydrolysis glucose galactose, giving better accuracy previous models. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
