摘要: Abstract The shear and compressional elastic properties of weakly ionic acrylamide-based hydrogels are discussed. equilibrium modulus gels measured at low deformations is considered as a function swelling degree, monomer mole fraction, crosslinker fraction initial total concentration. gel does not decrease power its degree but passes distinctive minimum. To describe this non-Gaussian behaviour, we take account the finite extensibility network chains transition to globular conformation when deswelling from state. Good agreement obtained between so predicted values. characterize compressibility gels, pressure measured. We analyse different swelling-pressure contributions functions concentration salt in outer solution. mixing found be approximated by Flory equations. contribution mainly determined difference concentrations mobile ions inside outside gel. It can described taking into consideration ideal Donnan dissociation ionogenic groups.
