摘要: Spatial variations of the water quality parameters Merbok estuary were interpreted by multivariate statistical techniques, such as cluster analysis (CA), principal component (PCA), and factor (FA). Data from January to December 2011 collected monitor 13 at six sampling stations along river stretch (two each section: upstream, midstream, downstream). Cluster results revealed two different groups between stations, reflecting physicochemical properties pollution levels in study area. Factor was used for surface bottom quality, yielding four factors that responsible 72.93 68.90 % total variance data sets. PCA also found conductivity, salinity, dissolved oxygen, chlorophyll a, NO3 − be most important contributing fluctuations estuary. This presents usefulness techniques assessing sets understanding spatial effectively manage estuaries.
