摘要: Poly(methacrylic acid)-grafted chitosan membranes (chitosan-g-poly(MAA)) were prepared in two sequential steps: the first step, by phase-inversion technique and then epichlorohydrin was used as crosslinking agent to increase its chemical stability acidic media; second graftcopolymerization of methacrylic acid onto initiated ammonium persulfate (APS) under nitrogen atmosphere. The chitosan-g-poly(MAA) an ion-exchange support for adsorption trypsin from aqueous solution. influence pH, equilibrium time, ionic strength, initial concentration on capacity have been investigated a batch system. Maximum membrane found be 92.86 mg mL−1 at pH 7.0. experimental data obtained fitted well Langmuir isotherm model. analyzed using first- second-order kinetic models, described equation. More than 97% adsorbed desorbed glutamic solution (0.5M, 4.0). In addition, chitosan-g- poly(MAA) this work showed promising potential various biotechnological applications. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Appl Polym Sci, 2008
