摘要: Marrow regulation and iron metabolism were evaluated in 17 patients with mild or moderate anemia associated chronic disorders. In addition, whole blood P50 red cell 2,3-diphosphoglycerate (DPG) levels measured. The study group consisted of seven non-hematologic malignancies, nine infection inflammation, one idiopathic hypoproliferative anemia. mean DPG elevated to 28.5 +/- 1.9 mm Hg 7.03 0.83 mumole/ml packed RBC, respectively, as compared normal values 26.6 0.6 4.83 0.33 RBC. Erythropoietin (ESF) excretion was variable (1.1-28.7 IRP U, day), clearly above only three and, within the group, bore no relation hematocrit. While subjects had ESF rates 95% limits predicted by hematocrit, remaining eight lower than expected values. No significant differences ferrokinetics, excretion, hematologic profile found between malignancy those inflammation. transit times correlated inversely both serum urine activity (r = -0.57, p less 0.02; r -0.63, 0.01, respectively), indicating that marrow reticulocyte release response stimulation unimpaired. Erythroid turnovers unrelated urinary but significantly expressed microgram/100 ml 0.56, 0.02). These studies suggest there is an intraerythrocytic this patients, document reduced production not a uniform finding disorders, provide evidence proliferative limited many primarily availability iron.
