An uncertain workforce planning problem with job satisfaction

摘要: To investigate the effect of employees’ job satisfaction on firm’s workforce planning, this paper builds a multi-period uncertain planning model with level, where labor demands and operation costs are characterized as variables. The level is defined psychological about overtime through prospect theory. proposed can be transformed into an equivalent deterministic form, which contains complex nonlinear constraints cannot solved by conventional optimization methods. Thus, hybrid joint operations algorithm (JOA) integrated LINGO software designed to solve problem. Consequently, several numerical experiments conducted compare our JOA particle swarm verify effectiveness algorithm. results demonstrate that total cost increases loss averse degree outside firms’ respectively. Meanwhile, firm would overpay in bounded rational cases satisfaction, overpayment seen value rationality, ensures normal operation.
