摘要: Recent high precision experimental data from a variety of hadronic processes opens new opportunities for determination the collinear parton distribution functions (PDFs) proton. In fact, wealth information experiments such as Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and others, makes it difficult to quickly assess impact on PDFs, short performing computationally expensive global fits. As an alternative, we explore methods quantifying potential extraction proton PDFs. Our approach relies crucially correlation between theory-data residuals PDFs themselves, well newly defined quantity --- sensitivity which represents extension reflects both PDF-driven uncertainties. This is realized in new, publicly available analysis package PDFSense, operates with these statistical measures identify particularly sensitive experiments, weigh their relative or visualize detailed distributions space momentum fraction x factorization scale \mu. tool offers means understanding influence individual measurements existing fits, predictive device directing future fits toward highest assumptions.
