摘要: Karyotypic findings in 27 cancerous effusions have been presented and the data on all other published summarized. Cancerous are characterized by a wide range of modal chromosomal number, ranging from severe hypodiploidy (35) to more than 100 chromosomes. The karyotypes such reveal an extremely diversified picture with no two having identical or similar karyotypes. Marker chromosomes were present preponderant number but their frequency, size did not appear be related total chromosome cells. Stability is indicated persistence constitution for period time, reappearance when effusion recurred after therapy similarity different location.
