Focal patterns of higher order hyperbolic-cosine-Gaussian beam with one optical vortex

摘要: Intensity distribution in focal region plays an important role many optical systems. In this paper, the patterns of higher order hyperbolic-cosine-Gaussian (HOCG) beam plane were investigated. The HOCG contains one spiral vortex on its axis. Results show that pattern can be altered considerably by incident beam, and some novel may occur, including foursquare pattern, cross-shaped dark focus, intensity peaks chain, multiple array. Focal evolution principle increasing also differs remarkably under condition different topological charge displacement parameter associated with cosh parts. And like parameter, numerical aperture affect pattern.
