摘要: Abstracts A balance between portability and usability made the 10.1″ diagonal screens popular in Mobile PC market (e.g., mini-notebooks/netbooks, convertible/hybrid ultraportables); yet no academic research rationalizes this phenomenon. This study investigated size effects of display input devices 4 mini-notebooks (netbooks) ranged on their performances 2 simple 3 complex applied tasks. It seemed that closer and/or (touchpad/touchscreen/keyboard) sizes to those a generic notebook, shorter operation times (there was certain phenomenon for error rates). With non-significant differences, 8.9″ were as fast 11.6″ one almost all tasks, except typing The mini-notebook (netbook) most preferred; while difference satisfactions not significant ones but 7″ ones.
