摘要: In these notes, we shall review several important aspects of the basic theory necessary for interpreting and understanding experiments based on X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS or ESCA). view breadth material to be covered, only an outline various theoretical models will presented, including discussions assumptions involved, examples agreement obtained between experiment, statements concerning remaining unsolved experimental problems. At points, references made inherent similarities differences XPS closely related ultraviolet (UPS). The aim notes thus provide a background more specialized study. bibliography presented here is not intended exhaustive one, but rather contain most papers, in some cases, original given topic, as well certain illustrative use models.
