摘要: Face recognition is a popular research topic with number of applications in several industrial sectors including security, surveillance, entertainment, virtual reality, and human–machine interaction. Both 2D images 3D data can now be easily acquired used for face recognition. For any 2D/3D system, feature extraction selection play significant role. Currently, both holistic local features have been intensively investigated the literature. In this article, fundamental background knowledge recognition, acquisition, preprocessing, extraction, classification, performance evaluation, presented. The state-of-the-art algorithms, feature, are then described detail. Finally, fusion techniques article covers complete related aspects recognition.
