The Ar–NO van der Waals complex studied by resonant multiphoton ionization spectroscopy involving photoion and photoelectron measurements

摘要: Using a 5% mixture of NO in Ar supersonic free jet, the present work we have carried out measurements total ion current 380–385 nm laser wavelength region. We also measured photoelectron kinetic energy spectra at individual peaks. In ion–current spectrum observed new vibrational progression which consists four peaks region longer than peak two‐photon transition molecule NO(X, v″=0)  →2hν NO(C,v′=0). It has been concluded that are attributed to bound‐to‐bound transitions Ar–NO van der Waals complex from its ground state resonant expressed by Ar–NO*(C 2Π, v′=0), component is 3p Rydberg state. The whole ionization process studied may be Ar–NO(X, →2hνAr–NO*(C, v′=0)  →hν Ar–NO+(X, v+=0). Each separation about 50 cm−1, correspond frequency intermolecular st...
