摘要: A method is provided in which a user registers Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) address with server that uses digest access authentication; If the has another already registered server, requests name and password for existing address. The enters into client application. application transmits to registration as clear text over an encrypted channel. generates from received compares generated stored on order determine whether submitted valid password. digests match, sets email account of new email.
