摘要: Abstract The potential of dams as oocyte donors can be a selection criterion for animal breeding programs, but also an involuntary driver the process. In both cases, it is important to determine genetic components influencing outcome in vitro embryo production (IVEP). objective present study was perform detailed analysis traits in Dairy Gir cows. A dataset containing 11,450 records ovum pick-up (OPU) and fertilization (IVF) procedures from 2684 evaluated. Analyzed were number (NOV) percentage (POV) viable oocytes; (NGI) (PGI) grade I (NEMB) (PEMB) embryos. All analyzes performed using models by Bayesian framework. Heritability estimates varied 0.16 0.32 count 0.01 0.06 traits. proportion total variation represented additive effect sire (semen used IVF) NEMB PEMB 7% 5% respectively. Associations between estimated values progeny tested bulls IVEP traits, milk production, age at first calving conformation mainly low or close zero. Results indicate that possible cattle would not impair progress already considered criteria. NOV seems promising target trait. However, index could help avoid use sires with negative merit minimizing deterioration long term.
