摘要: In previous studies we have shown down-regulation of class I major histocompatibility complex (MHC) expression in a significant proportion primary cervical carcinomas, which was found to be strongly correlated with loss the transporter associated antigen presentation (TAP). By contrast, II MHC frequently up-regulated on neoplastic keratinocytes these malignancies. order investigate whether changes are biological behaviour tumours, 20 carcinomas were analyzed for (HLA-A, HLA-B/C, HLA-DR) and TAP-1 tumours lymph node metastases by immunohistochemistry. The results showed increase prevalence HLA-A HLA-B/C metastasised cells as compared tumour (P = 0.01). all cases this accompanied expression. Up-regulated HLA-DR exclusively absent corresponding 0.002). These data consistent hypothesis that consequent provides selective advantage during metastasis. Furthermore, lack either reflects different local lymphokine production or indicates may escaped CD4+ cytotoxic T-lymphocyte (CTL)-mediated killing.
