摘要: The study examine resource use efficiency of irrigated tomato production in Northern Taraba State, were is predominantly grown. hundred and four farmers selected using purposive simple random sampling result the analysis revealed that 96% variation output was due to difference technical efficiency. mean (TE) 0.89 (89%) which indicated area are fully efficient because they operated below frontier level. further showed farm size, fertilizer insecticides major factors influenced crop all statistically significant at 1% results size under-utilized since ratio exceeded unity while Fertilizer insecticide over utilized estimated ratios differed from unity. finding researchers wish r ecommend a credit by should be guaranteed State Government through special programs enable acquire more productive modern inputs as well other cost - elements process.
