摘要: The plant Hyptis is a effective medicinal herb and well known in herbal world. present study was aimed to investigate the α-amylase inhibition antioxidant activities of chloroform fraction H. suaveolens. Chloroform suaveolens screened for activity by 3, 5-dinitrosalicylic acid (DNSA) method respectively. evaluated 1,1-diphenyl-2-picryl-hydrazile (DPPH) free radical scavenging, Super oxide Scavenging, nitric (NO) 2.2’-azinobis-3-ethylbenzothiazole-6-sulfonic (ABTS) scavenging assays. showed (IC50 57.34µg/ml). demonstrated significant all vitro models. Moreover, found be extremely DPPH 57.51 µg/ml) while compared super 61.36 µg/ml), NO (IC5076.3 ABTS 93.16 activity. In conclusion, from results it established that alpha-amylase inhibitory may contribute its earlier observed antidiabetic potential.
