摘要: Abstract Gas turbine particulate matter (PM) emissions contribute to air quality degradation and are dangerous both human health the environment. Currently, PM mass concentrations determined from gravimetric measurements default parameter for gas compliance with regulations. The measurement of particle size however, is significant interest due its specific effects on climate science. concentration can be number-size distribution but requires experimental evaluation effective density a number particles establish power-law relationship. In this study, an aircraft Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) petroleum diesel, conventional aviation fuel (Jet A-1) multicomponent surrogate (Banner NP 1014) as combusting fuels have been compared. An configuration consisting Differential Mobility Analyzer, Centrifugal Particle Mass Analyzer Condensation Counter (DMA-CPMA-CPC) was deployed purpose. Overall, decrease in (220–1900 km− 3) increase observed found depend engine operating condition type undergoing combustion. There change trend densities between generated burnt conditions increasing size.
