摘要: Emulsion polymerization is one of the major techniques for manufacture adhesives, coatings, thermoplastics and elastomers. In miniemulsion polymerization, relatively stable oil droplets within a size range 500 to 5000 A are prepared by emulsifying monomer in medium, generally water, with aid surfactant hydrophobic compound. Droplet distribution far most important parameters because they affect directly both stability droplet nucleation. Therefore, understanding mechanism ruling strongly depends on an accurate determination particle size.
