摘要: Abstract Eight brachiopod species, i.e. Novocrania sp., Cryptopora lovisati (Dreger, 1911), “Terebratula” Megathiris detruncata (Gmelin, 1791), Argyrotheca cuneata (Risso, 1826), Joania cordata Megerlia truncata (Linnaeus, 1767), and Platidia anomioides (Scacchi Philippi, 1844), have been identified in the Middle Miocene deposits of Kralice nad Oslavou, Moravia, Czech Republic. The species C. lovisati P. anomioides dominate studied assemblage, while others are very rare. Novocrania, M. truncata reported for first time from Moravian part Carpathian Foredeep. In composition, assemblage resembles other Paratehyan assemblages, interpreted as shallow water, but dominance makes it clearly different, indicating an environment deeper than 100 m.
