Quantum and frustration effects on fluctuations of the inverse compressibility in two-dimensional Coulomb glasses

摘要: We consider interacting electrons in a two-dimensional quantum Coulomb glass, and investigate by means of the Hartree-Fock approximation combined effects electron-electron interaction transverse magnetic field on fluctuations inverse compressibility. Preceding systematic study system absence identified source fluctuations, interplay disorder interaction, hopping. Revealed sufficiently clean samples with strong interactions is an unusual right-biased distribution compressibility, which neither Gaussian nor Wigner-Dyson type. While most cases weak fields tend to suppress relatively are found grow field. This attributed localization properties electron states, may be measured participation ratio number. It also observed that at frustration where Fermi level degenerate, or modulation enhanced, raising fluctuations. Strong general suppresses compressibility configuration electrons.
