摘要: Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) has been recognized as the most common vestibular disorder; it is a term coined in 1952 by Dix and Hallpike, commonly used to describe disease with characteristic clinical presentation believed be caused free-floating particles leaving macula entering one of semicircular canals, usually posterior one, more rarely horizontal or superior ones.
