摘要: We propose and analyze a scheme for adiabatic creation of maximum coherence 0.5 with controllable phase between ground state the excited in model Λ-structured atom using two short laser pulses. One pulses has constant carrier frequency quasi-resonant transition an initially empty excite states. The second pulse is swept through resonance adjacent populated common atom. demonstrate high degree robustness against variation parameters radiation relatively broad region values. proposed may find practical applications field multi-photon ionization, high-order harmonics Raman sideband generation, as well nonlinear wave mixing coherently prepared media.
