摘要: Type 2 diabetic (T2DM) patients are immune-compromised having a higher susceptibility to infections and long-term complications in different parts of the body contributing increased morbidity mortality. A derangement homeostasis intracellular free calcium concentration [Ca2+]i is known be associated with several diseases including T2DM. Both neutrophils lymphocytes play active protective roles host immune response infection showing impairment microbicidal functions phagocytosis chemotaxis which calcium-dependent processes. This study evaluated process mobilization from both taken blood T2DM healthy age-matched control subjects investigating effect N-formyl-methionyl-leucyl-phenylalanine (fMLP), thapsigargin (TG), hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) on homeostasis. employed isolated peripheral 24 volunteers. Either or were stimulated separately fMLP, TG, H2O2. Induced changes [Ca2+] using spectrofluorometric methods. Stimulation human H2O2 presence [Ca2+]o resulted significant decreases compared controls. These data indicate that less responsive mobilizing agents granulocytes controls this possibly due hyperglycemia. The results suggest agonist-evoked decrease cells might one possible mechanisms impaired immunity patients.
