摘要: One of the most striking things about forecasters is their lack historical perspective. They rarely do retrospectives, even though looking back at past work can both illuminate reasons for its success or failure, and improve methodologies current future forecasts. best famous retrospectives that by Hans Landsberg, which investigates conducted Sam Schurr, others. In this article, written mainly model users, we highlight Landsberg's retrospective as a uniquely valuable contribution to improving forecasting methodologies. We also encourage users support such more frequently. Finally, give generation analysts kind guidance believe Landsberg Schurr would have offered how well.
