摘要: Intonation and voice quality are studied for a variety of reasons by workers in wide range often overlapping disciplines. Psychologists psychiatrists may use these features to obtain information about the personality psychological state patients. See example, Pittenger (1957), McQuown (1957) Hockett et al. (i960). Physiologists, neurologists clinicians, among others, concerned establish mechanisms involved phonation pitch change (see Harris, Sawashima). Linguists phoneticians analyse systematic intonation language - their grammatical, semantic social roles seek perceptual physiological correlates. Crystal (1969), Halliday (1967), Fry (1958), Chan (1971), Fourcin (1968).
