摘要: The ESR signals due to the radical pairs were found in n‐hydrocarbons γ irradiated at 77°K. Besides spectra ΔMs = 2 transition, ΔMs = 1 also on tail of predominant isolated radicals. show nearly same hyperfine splitting as that spectra. From analysis spectra, separation d‖ zero‐field was determined be 292 G from which distance paired radicals estimated 5.75 A. are probably form two alkyl adjacent hydrocarbon chains. value A is consistent with intercarbon between chains aligned along direction crystalline b axis. glassy such squalane gave spectrum but did not give lines case high polymers.
