摘要: Synaptic plasticity in adult neural circuits may involve the strengthening or weakening of existing synapses as well structural plasticity, including synapse formation and elimination. Indeed, long-term vivo imaging studies are beginning to reveal dynamics neocortical neurons normal injured brain. Although overall cell-specific morphology axons dendrites, a subpopulation small synaptic structures, remarkably stable, there is increasing evidence that experience-dependent specific somatosensory visual cortex involves cell type-specific plasticity: some boutons dendritic spines appear disappear, accompanied by elimination, respectively. This Review focuses on recent for such forms mammalian outlines open questions.
