摘要: Previous studies have investigated the expression of insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I) and its receptor in cultured skin cells or whole skin. In order to fully understand role IGF-I appendages, however, a comprehensive study that details sections human is needed. Therefore, we now report an immunocytochemical situ hybridization localization cell types expressing adult appendages. We observed (i) dermal fibroblasts produce IGF-I, (ii) epidermal basal keratinocytes are negative but positive, (iii) stratum granulosum IGF-I. These observations indicate either mitogenesis regulated by expressed both dermis granulosum, responsible for sequestering granulosum-derived may be autocrine regulator differentiation. The distribution hair follicle indicates morphogen, not mitogen, at those sites, because their proliferating cells, differentiating negative. Further, papilla appears switched off during transition from anagen catagen, which implies regulatory cycle.
